Description:

Kaya Kopi Luwak is the world’s most exclusive (and most expensive) coffee.

This coffee starts it life at 4,000 feet (1,200 M) above sea level in the heart of the Pangalengan Highlands of West Java, Indonesia. There, wild and healthy Asian palm civets feast on only the ripest and highest quality arabica coffee beans available. After the civets do their work, our local staff collect and clean the beans before roasting them at 391 °F (199°C) to ensure the perfect body yet un-burned taste. We don't cut corners: we are organic, fair trade and environmentally conscious.

Flavor Profile:

A complex flavor profile that is smooth and sweet with a hint of hazelnut.

When Kaya Kopi Luwak hits your tongue you will immediately notice that it is remarkably smooth. It has a light, almost pillowy texture that floats in your mouth for several seconds after swallowing. Kaya Kopi has a wide variety of flavors and you may taste and smell hints of citrus, jasmine, honey and/or hazelnut depending on your batch and the current harvest season.

Who We Are:

We are Melda, Nhi and Christopher - three friends who love coffee, traveling and meeting new people.

We believe that sharing a perfect cup of coffee with friends (both new and old) is one of the best ways to enjoy the human experience. Melda is from Indonesia, Nhi is from Vietnam and Christopher is from the United States. They met in Vietnam over a cup of coffee, or course. Melda's family owns the Kaya Kopi farm and produces small batches of Kopi Luwak. When she shared it with Nhi and Christopher they were instantly hooked.  We searched for authentic Kopi Luwak as good as Melda's, however, we generally found luwak that was produced inhumanely or just downright fake!

Being coffee aficionados, we knew we had to share Kaya Kopi Luwak with our friends and family, so Melda began sending small amounts to the USA and Vietnam. When we started to get orders through word of mouth, we knew we needed a better way to share our passion.  Hence, this website was formed. Today, we are happy to have shared Kaya Kopi Luwak with hundreds of individuals from more than 7 countries!
